The OPT OUT Program...
The OPT OUT program eliminates 100% of the transaction cost on the sale amount of credit card payments. The cardholder has the option to pay the regular price or the non-cash price - which is 4% more than the regular price. Both prices are displayed on the customer's ticket so there is no confusion during the payment process. The gas stations have been doing this for decades, and nobody thinks twice about it.
